Billy Beane (Brad Pitt), the head of the Oakland A baseball team, defies wealthy clubs by creating a team out of nothing with a limited budget. Based on Michael Lewis' book "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," the film, adapted by Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin, stars Brad Pitt, Robin Wright, and Jonah Hill. "Moneyball" is the second feature film directed by Bennett Miller, who was nominated for Best Director at the Oscars in 2005 for his debut film "Capote." The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and has received high praise and ratings from international critics.
